Strangers are not to be trusted. Guns are.

A Short Film
Starring Lauren Avery, Dasha Nekrasova
In this post-apocalyptic Western, two things are rare in the year 2077: guns and women. Nora and her friend/lover Daphine must struggle to survive. In a post-government world without laws or weapons. Nora and her best friend/lover Daphine have an idyllic life in a sparse, rugged landscape. When a stranger arrives on their land, Daph's curiosity takes her away to a violent, misogynistic, psychedelic drug cult. Nora doesn't just want Daph back—she also wants revenge.

“The Lotus Gun was the USC film school thesis film of director Amanda Milius. Producing took us to the mountains of Southern California where we spent a week camping, dressing up in glow-in-the-dark, and trying to get the local lama to shut the fuck up.” — JVG
